Overview
Birzeit University's Center for Continuing Education (CCE) is a nonprofit, nonsectarian public-service organization, founded in 1991 as one of the community-service extension units of the University. Since its establishment, the CCE has been working on developing human resources and upgrading the skills and capabilities of professionals through its work with organizations in the private, public and non-governmental sector.
Most of CCE's work provides technical assistance, training and consulting services to NGOs that are directly involved in the building of Palestinian civil society and direct services to the community. We also extend our services to the private sector to help assist them in developing the Palestinian economy.
We work closely with clients on project design and development in order to meet their objectives and enhance the quality of their professional performance using the available resources efficiently and effectively.
Vision and Goals
As we pursue our aim of improving the quality of its clients and the community at large, CCE adopts a holistic approach to development and training that not only enriches the experience of individuals, but also enhances the capacity of their organizations.

In designing our programs, applicability to the Palestinian marketplace and societal needs is an essential element. This connection is enhanced by forming internal and external partnerships with various organizations. Moreover, practical placements of the trainees are significant interfaces between CCE's training programs and the actual requirements in the workplace.
