Purpose
This Unit works on institutional development, improving their capability to deliver services, compile and make use of knowledge and establish linkages within the community to realize greater synergies. These interventions of the Reform and Development Unit specifically target public administration and civil service reform. Through this Unit, CCE along with its international partners have been working with the Reform Committee Support Unit, under the direction of the Minister of Planning on the PNA ‘Public Management Reform Programme (PMRP) since October 2003. This effort is consistent with reform action plans and work plans defined and approved by Palestinian National Authority's Cabinet; however, it expands upon these documents and, in particular, details the PNA’s approach to implementation. |
