What is CAPABILITY?
Capability is a program which was envisaged by Birzeit University Centre for Continuing Education and its global partners during the 2nd half of 2006. The program aims at developing the capacity of Palestinian organizations working in the field of education in order to facilitate larger scale reform of the educational system by creating the local skills and organizational capacity to conduct such reforms.

Mission
To build the capability of Palestinian education and training institutions to adopt innovative learning solutions supported by technology.
Objectives
- To develop models, methodologies and staff based on up-to-date learning and technology theories and practices sourced locally, regionally and internationally;
- To build the capability of a critical number of relevant community leaders to initiate, lead and manage innovative learning solutions supported by technology.
- To build the capability of relevant institutions to operate innovative learning models, processes, systems and procedures supported by technology.
- To improve the capability of local institutions and the global business and donor community to form public private partnerships for learning and education.
- To partner with several local businesses in the creation of an industry revolving around innovation in learning supported by technology
